JAMMU, Jan 12: Up in arms against opening of a wine shop in the locality, residents of Greater Kailash Colony, near Lane number 2, held a protest demonstration, here today.
The protesting people raised slogans and demanded immediate shifting of the wine shop from the area. The shop was recently shifted to the area following its relocation from Kalu Chak in the wake of Supreme Court order.
The protest was joined by K J. Munshi. A K Abrol, Vijaj Kumar. Mohan Verma. A K Goel and a number of women of the area. They warned the Excise Department to either close down the wine shop or face strong protests.
