UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: People of Sayal Sallen area led by Sarpanch Vikas Sharma met ARTO and apprised him about the problems being faced by the local youths due to issuance of more auto service permission from their place to Udhampur town.
While speaking, Vikas Sharma said that for the long time there was no transport facility in their locality and the Panchayat has initiated to provide transport facility to the people by encouraging the youth to adopt transport as their profession.
He said that local youths are continuing their business despite poor public response and his office is issuing more permission orders, which is unjustified.
ARTO gave a patient hearing to their demand and assured that he will withdraw the route permit granted to others.
Among others present were Jagdish Kumar, Naib Sarpanch, Rahul Dev Singh, district president, Youth Congress, Subash Kumar, Jagdish Bhardwaj, Bikku, etc.
