UDHAMPUR, Aug 24: Agitated over the worst condition of Ballian to Battal road connecting with Dhar road, the people held protest at village Battal against the Public Works Department (R&B) authorities, here today.
The protesting locals raised slogans against the PWD and the District administration.
They said that this road was repaired with a draining system two years back but within two year this road got totally damaged due to use of substandard material.
They said that the road is in worst condition and created problems for the people.
“The matter was taken up with the higher authorities, but nothing has been done till date, which forced us to hold protest”, the protesting people said.
The protestors appealed to the PWD and District Administration to look into the matter so the people will have some sigh of relief.
Among others present were Romesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Bansi Lal, Om Parkash, Vijay Sharma, etc.
