JAMMU, Feb 23: BJP J&K UT president, Ravinder Raina today said that both Gaon Chalo Abhiyan and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra which concluded recently received good public response all over the UT.
Addressing a meeting of senior leaders of party here, today which was attended by senior leaders, all the former MLAs and former Ministers, Raina said people from all sections of society came forward to participate in these programmes and endorsed the policies and schemes of the Modi Government to make India a developed nation, the Viksit Bharat by 2047.
He further said that people have developed trust in Modi’s guarantee and often say that Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee of the completion of his promises.
The meeting was held to review the organizational programmes like beneficiaries sammelan, meetings with Self Help Groups and NGOs, and Gram Chalo Abhiyan.
Former Deputy Chief Ministers, Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali Khatana, general secretaries, Dr. Devinder Manyal and Vibodh Gupta also shared the dais.
Ashok Koul, general secretary (Organization), while addressing the meeting, said that the party is in election mod. It is preparing and going for Parliamentary elections soon with full preparations. The people of the country have entrusted faith in the policies of the Modi Government in 2014 and 2019. He also appreciated the role of party workers and added that the BJP is the single largest political party in the world and, has, as such, been globally recognized under a leader, who has put the country on the path of peace, progress, and prosperity and it will become the third largest economy in the world in Modi’s third term.
In another meeting, Ravinder Raina along with other senior leaders of the party discussed the issue of delimitation of Municipal Corporations, committees, and Councils.
This meeting was attended by former Minister, Sat Sharma, vice presidents, Yudhvir Sethi, Pawan Khajuria, Sham Choudhary, Surjeet Singh Salathia and Sham Lal Sharma, NEM Priya Sethi, Waqf Board Chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, former Ministers Bali Bhagat, Chander Prakash Ganga, Abdul Gani Kohli, Rajiv Jasrotia, Shakti Parihar and Ajay Nanda, former MLAs, Devender Singh Rana, Dalip Singh Parihar, Rajeev Sharma, RS Pathania, Ajay Bharti, Balwant Singh Mankotia and Swarn Lata, former MLCs Vikram Randhawa and Charanjit Singh Khalsa and senior leader Munish Sharma,.
