RAJOURI, Aug 16: The People from Bajnoa, Qila Darhal and several adjoining areas today took out protest rally and held strong protest demonstration outside the office of SDM at Nowshera against Kalakote police and local administration.
They alleged that two sisters Urmil and Nisha and Constable Sanjay Kumar were murdered at Thermal Colony, Kalakote on the intervening night of July 27 and 28, 2014 while police was trying to derail the investigation and shielding the real culprits. The family members of all the three deceased persons also joined protest. They alleged that SHO Kalakote Vikram Singh Parihar was directly involved in the case and justice can not be meted out to the families till he is there. They demanded his suspension and an action against them.
The family members and Sarpanch, Paramjit Singh said that people had no trust in the inquiry being conducted by an SDPO and Tehsildar Kalakote. It was just eye wash and attempt was being made to protect the accused involved in the alleged murder. They alleged that police avoided postmortem of the bodies of both the sisters while murder of Sanjay Kumar -former body guard of SHO Kalakote, was projected as suicide. It was a mere cock and bull story of Rajouri police. They demanded that details of SHO, one contractor Vijay Suri and BMO Kalakote be recorded and the case be handed over to the CBI. They said Sanjay was on four day leave up to July 28 but he was called from Police Station Kalakote on July 27.
After taking out rally from Patel Chowk to the main market at Nowshera, the villagers moved to the office of SDM where they held dharna for over an hour. The movement of traffic was also disrupted. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the SDM for the State Home Minister/ Chief Minister and gave 15 days’ ultimatum to the Administration. A large number people including women participated in protest the dharna.
