WASHINGTON, Aug 1: The US Department of Defense said it had expanded the contract on producing air-to-surface JASSM and anti-ship LRASM missiles for Poland and other countries to about USD 9.5 billion.
“Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, has been awarded a $4,288,108,296 firm-fixed-price definitization modification (PZ0007) to a previously awarded contract (FA8682-24-C-B001) for the Joint Air-To-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and Long-Range, Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) large lot procurement for JASSM Lots 22-26 and LRASM Lots 9-12. This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $9,485,190,471,” the Pentagon said in a statement.
The list of customers includes Poland, the Netherlands, Japan and Finland.
The work will be carried out in Orlando, Florida, and Troy, Alabama, and is going to be completed by January 31, 2033.
