JAMMU, Jan 23: All J&K Pensioners Association Jammu has threatened to launch an agitation if the public distribution system of essential commodities, like ration, LPG and kerosene is not streamlined by the Government.
A meeting of the Association was held under the chairmanship of Madan Lal Abrol, who warned the CAPD to either ensure regular supply of essentials or face wrath of people.
The meet alleged that the dealers were not supplying the ration to consumers by claiming that the same was not being provided by the CAPD.
The meeting was attended by Mukand Lal Sharma, Maheshwar Sharma, Mohinder Singh, M L Sharma, Kapil Dev, Dev Raj Gupta, Krishan Lal and S D Verma.
