The JKSPA also reiterated the demand for enhancing medical allowance from paltry Rs 300 to at least Rs 1000 as per central patter if no at the rate of Rs 10000 being given to sitting and former minister and legislators as diseases do not differentiate between the rich and poor and moreover, medicare expenses are soaring day by day and going beyond the reach and capacity of employees and pensioners.
