Pensioners’ Association highlights demands

JAMMU, Oct 23: All J&K State Pensioners’ Association, Jammu has demanded the State Government to fulfill their burning demands like implementation of 7th Pay Commission report.
Addressing a meeting of the Association, its general secretary, Madan Lal Abrol, said while Government has failed to redress the problems of pensioners. He stressed upon the Government to immediate release interim relief @ Rs 6000 per month in favour of the State pensioners till 7th Pay Commission is implemented. He also demand enhancement of the medical allowance from Rs 300 per month to Rs 3000 per month.
Yash Paul Sharma, president, GCPF Jammu and ex-chief organizer of All J&K Lecturer’s Forum alleged that coalition did nothing to check price rise, corruption and nepotism.
