JAMMU, Nov 21: A meeting of All J&K School Education Employees Non Teaching Forum (SEENTF) was held today under the chairmanship of Ansuyia Gupta, Provincial president of Clerical Staff and Bharat Bhushan Kotwal, SEENTF’s former president.
The long pending demands of non-teaching staff of School Education Department were discussed in the meeting.
Speakers in the meeting said that clerical staff of all cadres at Education Department has been deprived of transfers, adjustment and regularization since December 2015 while their counterpart teachers and lecturers are frequently transferred, adjusted and regularized as and where they complete their tenure of office as per norms.
They also claimed that Senior Assistants promoted as In-charge Head Assistants are still unadjusted despite the fact that many of them are at the verge of retirement.
The non-teaching staff urged Director School Education Jammu to solve the problems of clerical cadre at the earliest else the clerical staff will go for pen-down strike.
