JAMMU, Sept 28: Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU), Jammu urged upon the Government to address the pending issues of the workers.
A delegation of PPEU’s Hiranagar unit led by Hardarshan Singh, president visited various power stations of the area and listened to the issues/ grievances of the workers. The Union decided to put forth their issues before the higher authorities. They demanded provision of safety tools, toilets, washrooms, drinking water, torches, chairs, sitting benches etc at the power stations for the workers. The union also demanded repair of broken widows, doors, telephone facilities, provision of proper lights at the stations besides deployment of sufficient staff and securitymen at the Stations for smooth functioning.
