SAMBA, Oct 27: Provincial Electric Employees Union (PEEU) held a meeting at Vijaypur near here, today in which delegates from Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba and Jammu participated.
The meeting was organized by Sat Dev Slathia and chaired by PC Sharma provincial president of the Union. The meeting constituted new unit for Vijaypur and Rattan Paul Sharma was elected as its president and Ashok Sharma as general secretary.
P C Sharma in his address assured the participants that the Union has already made pressure to consider the demands like implementation of SRO 59, conducting of DPC at all levels, regularization of daily wagers and abolition of SRO 64 of 19994.
