KATHUA, Jan 23: The Provincial Electric Employees Union (PEEU) in its meeting expressed its satisfaction over the constitution of DPC at circle level.
The meeting which was chaired by the president of the Union PC Sharma said that it has been a long pending demand of the employees.
The issue was discussed with the Principal Secretary Power Union number of times, Sharma said. Besides, the constitution of DPC at circle level in all districts was also demanded.
He said there is a resentment among the employees that why DPC of field staff was not conducted since 2011.

He also demanded releasing of technical grade to all ITI trained employees, retrospective effect to the already regularized D.R.W onward 1996 in terms of SRO 64 of 1994, amendment in service recruitment 381 of 1981 in response to discussion held in the meeting Principal Secretary who had agreed to issue orders for constitution of DPC at circle level and reconstitution of Province/State Committee.
Sharma said that employees of all districts will get much relief in getting their district cadre promotion at their own district and their seniority shall be maintained in their own district.
