UDHAMPUR, May 23: A young pedestrian was knocked to death by a rashly driven Tata-Mahindra vehicle at village Gadi Jandrore, Tehsil Ramnagar, here today.
The deceased was identified as Manohar Sharma (28), son of Suram Chand of village Gadi Jandrore. Police has arrested driver of the vehicle, identified as Randheer Singh, son of Balwan Singh of Jaganoo and registered a case in this connection.
According to the police, the Tata Mahindra vehicle, bearing Registration number JK14F-2905, hit the victim, who was walking on the roadside in his village. Other locals shifted the injured pedestrian to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
