SAMBA, June 25: One pedestrian died in an road accident at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway at Raya Morh, near here, today.
He was identified as Kishori Lal, 52, son of Bodh Raj of Chan Datyal, Rajbagh Kathua.
Accident occurred when Kishore was crossing the road after having the dinner at a dhaba and an unknown vehicle hit him and he was injured seriously.
The injured was shifted to Vijaypur hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The deceased was a truck driver.
His dead body was handed over to family members for last rites after postmortem in District Hospital Samba.
In this regard the police has registered a case and started investigation.
