JAMMU, Feb 22: Bahu Fort Police today arrested a drug peddler with 790 grams of opium.
“While on naka duty at old bridge in Bhambarwan area, a team of Police Station Bahu Fort rounded up a suspect identified as Sanjay Radha son of Madan Lal resident of Pallanwala (Jammu) and on search recovered 790 grams of opium from his possession,” a Police spokesman said.
He said a case FIR Number 47/2023 U/S 8/17 NDPS Act was registered in this connection at Police Station Bahu Fort and the accused arrested.
Further investigation of the case was going on, he added.
