JAMMU, Nov 22: Power Employees Coordination Committee members met the Commissioner/ Secretary PDD Dheeraj Gupta today and submitted a charter of demands.
The delegation led by its chairman, DR Bhagat during meeting with Gupta projected the pending issues of the PDD workers. The main issues included regularization of the daily rated/ casual workers, enhancement of their wages, timely payment of their wages, filling up of vacant posts, depute PDD employees to CVPP, PDC, NHPC etc. They also demanded compensation for the temporary employees in case they get seriously injured in the mishaps.
J S Rathore, Mohd Maqbool and Gurmeet Singh also accompanied the delegation.
