NEW DELHI, June 3: In restricted activities, peas prices softened by up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market today on sluggish demand from retailers.
However, other pulses held steady in thin trade.
Traders said weak demand from retailers against adequate stocks position helped peas prices to trade lower.
In the national capital, peas white and green fell by Rs 25 and Rs 100 to Rs 2,450-2,475 and Rs 2,500-2,600 per quintal respectively.
