NEW DELHI, Oct 12: Prices of peas firmed up by Rs 25 per quintal in lacklustre trade at pulses markets today on pick up in demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, other pulses moved in a tight range on limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said pick up in retailers demand mainly pushed up peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green rose by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,925-2,975 and Rs 3,025-3,150 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 3,400-3,700, Urad Chilka (local) 4,500-4,700, best 4,800-5,400, Dhoya 5,400-5,600, Moong 5,400-5,800, Dal Moong Chilka local 5,900-6,300, Moong Dhoya local 6,100-6,200 and best quality 6,850-6,950.
Masoor small 4,000-4,200, bold 4,200-4,300, Dal Masoor local 4,750-4,850, best quality 4,800-4,900, Malka local 4,850-4,950, best 5,050-5,150, Moth 3,500-4,100, Arhar 3,745-4,145, Dal Arhar Dara 5,445-5,645.
Gram 3,075-3,850, Gram Dal (local) 3,500-3,700, best quality 3,600-3,700, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,510, Rajdhani 1,510, Rajmah Chitra 8,600-10,500, Kabli Gram small 3,700-5,700, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,000-5,100, Peas white 2,925-2,975 and green 3,025-3,150. (PTI)
