JAMMU, July 5: The crusade of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today reached Bawe Basti Jogi Gate to listen the problems of people and apprised them about visionary policies of party.
A team of PDP team led by its candidate from Jammu East Constituency, Bharat Choudhary, visited Bawe Basti near Jogi Gate and listened the demands and grievances of people living there.
The locals said that their area is neglected by present Government as well as local representative. They alleged that Bawe Basti faced worst situation due to depleted condition of approach road, non-functioning of street lights, lanes and drains, etc.
The locals also informed PDP leader about poor water and power supply in their area.
Bharat Choudhary gave patient hearing and assured that PDP will fight for the rights of and dignity of people. He also assured to take up their demands with concerned authorities as soon as possible.
