JAMMU, Apr 26: Reiterating commitment of the PDP to ensure balanced and equitable development in J&K, PDP vice president, S Rangil Singh today said that Coalition Government headed by Ms Mehbooba Mufti is working to carve out a new path of growth, peace and progress in the State. He said that the present PDP-BJP coalition regime is dutifully following the visionary and pro-people agenda of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
“Mufti Sahib had a vision for over-all growth and progress of each and every individual of the State and the present Government headed by Mehbooba Mufti is religiously working on that vision to establish lasting peace and to ensure upliftment of all regions and sub-regions of the State”, Rangil Singh said while addressing an impressive function which was organised to felicitate him on his appointment as vice president of the party.
Newly appointed general secretary Sartaj Madni and Mehboob Iqbal, spokesman Ved Mahajan, president Mahila Wing Vijaya Dogra, former M P, T S Bajwa, former MLA Shanti Devi, Bhushan Lal Dogra, Surinder Choudhary MLC, Firdous Tak MLC and others were also present on the occasion.
“Formation of a Coalition Government under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti is a new beginning in the State”, he observed and maintained that present regime is committed to carry forward the agenda of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. He further pointed out that from the day one after her appointment as Chief Minister of the State, Mehbooba Mufti has been working assiduously to solve problems of the people and trying to reach to the common masses to address their grievances.
Mr Singh further said that Coalition Govt is committed to provide accountable governance to the people. He said that this Government would carve out a new path of growth and equitable development in the State.
Senior leaders Ved Mahajan, Surinder Choudhary and others also addressed the gathering. They said it is high time for all political parties to shun their petty political interests for over-all development and growth of the State.
