JAMMU, Sept 6: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) general secretary Faqir Chand today said that former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s main aim to float PDP was to launch a movement that could fulfill people’s desires and ensure equitable development of all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir state. This movement is a continuous process and needs consistency to achieve targets.
Addressing workers’ meeting of Jammu west at party headquarters here today, Faqir Chand said, “we should follow principles of party and always spread its achievements in every nook and corner of the State to let people know how much concerned we are and what plans and programmes PDP has on agenda to help people to lead dignified life.”
PDP general secretary added that three years of Mufti Sayeed and recent tenure of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti are testimony to the fact that this political outfit intends to work selflessly and make people partners in developmental activities. He said, Party has seen many ups and downs but that has not deviated it from working towards addressing people’s issues.
PDP leaders- Puneet Singh Jamwal, Rajinder Manhas (Dist president), Rajat Gupta, Sachin Bhagat, Davinder Dogra, Rasal Singh, Vijay Anand, Vinod Jaral and Sohan Singh Soni were also present.
