SRINAGAR, June 29: A day after releasing the second list of candidates for general Assembly elections, due later this year, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today dissolved the district committees of twin South Kashmir districts of Pulwama and Shopian.
A PDP spokesman said here this afternoon that party president Mehbooba Mufti has dissolved the district committees of Pulwama and Shopian with immediate effect.
He said Ms Mufti has nominated Syed Abdul Bari Andrabi as district president for district Pulwama and Mohammad Yousuf Bhat as district president for Shopian.
However, the other office bearers will be nominated soon, he added.
