JSM vows to address problems of refugees

JAMMU, June 29: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) MLA from Bishnah Ashwani Sharma today declared that his party was committed to the cause of Jammu region including ending discrimination with Jammu, addressing issues of all refugees like West Pakistan, PoK, Chhamb etc and problems of border people.
Addressing a mammoth ‘Vikaas Rally’ at village Rahal in Bishnah tehsil this afternoon, Sharma listed a number of development works done by him at village Rahal including construction of roads, starting work  of bridge over Aik nullah, which would be resumed shortly, linking internal roads, improving sanitation facilities and, above all, upgradation of Electric Receiving Station.
He said today Rahal village can boast off development undertaken during his last five and half year tenure and promised that all development works undertake in the village would be completed. While some of the works have already been completed, some others were under completion. The remaining works would be taken up shortly. He added that work on Aik Nullah has been stalled due to technical problem and would be resumed shortly.
“We will develop Rahal as an important village of Bishnah tehsil equipping it will all possible facilities like power, water, roads, sanitation, education, health etc,’’ he added.
Ashwani Sharma declared that he would take up and ensure that all problems of West Pakistan, PoK, Chhamb and all other refugees are addressed. He said it was due to the struggle of the Jammu State Morcha that the Centre and State Governments have started taking efforts for addressing problems of all refugees.
Declaring that trifurcation is only solution to the problems and discrimination faced by Jammu region, Mr Sharma said the Jammu State Morcha will continue its struggle for getting statehood for Jammu region for permanent end to the problems of Jammu province as a whole.
