JAMMU, Sept 28: Former Minister and National Confe-rence MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo today expressed concern over continued sufferings of the people in the Kashmir valley and Kishtwar, saying PDP-BJP Government has miserably failed to govern the State as a result of which entire Jammu and Kashmir was passing through a most difficult phase.
“PDP-BJP combination is squarely responsible for the current alarming situation”, Kitchloo said and regretted over the failure of the Centre in initiating a meaningful dialogue for addressing the political issues confronted to the State.
Kitchloo referred to the atmosphere of fear created by the administration in Kishtwar, saying this has escalated the tension as a result of which the people were suffering on all fronts. He made a fervent appeal to the people to maintain peace, saying the unity and tranquillity has been biggest strength to foil the machinations of failed coalition partners. He hoped that the people will fight all those trying to create wedge between various segments of society to divert the attention from their failures.
“At a time when there was greater need of instilling confidence among people and creating sense of security among them, the Coalition Government is indulging in provocative actions by holding to ransom entire population of Kishtwar”, the former minister said.
