SRINAGAR, Feb 27: Peoples Republican Party (PRP) leader and trade unionist Mir Ghulam Rasool has expressed the hope that the formation of PDP-BJP Government in the State will bridge the gulf between the three regions of the State and take the State on the path of progress and prosperity.
Addressing a meeting of his Party workers at Ganderbal today he said that J&K has suffered a lot in 25 year long turmoil and wrong policies of Congress and NC led to further alienation of the people in the State in general and Kashmir valley in particular.
Mir expressed the hope that new Government will work for redressing the long standing problems of the people by paying special attention to eradication of unemployment, rising corruption etc.
He said the State needs a stable Government and the two parties have a mandate from both the regions of the State. He expressed the hope that the two parties will show enough maturity by keeping the contentious issues under carpet and work for the development, restoration of total peace and normalcy in the State.
