PDP-BJP befooling public, playing fixed match: Niaz

Excelsior Correspondent
DODA, Aug 29 : Former Minister and Executive member of Jammu and Kashmir Congress Committee Mohd Sharief Niaz  has said that the arrest of Hurriyat leaders in Delhi instead of  Srinagar was just a fixed match between PDP and BJP.
This way BJP and PDP tried to kill two birds with one stone. The aim of arresting Hurriyat leaders was completely politically motivated.  PDP has tried to give an impression that they have no objection of  Hurriyat leaders attending programmes at Delhi and on the other side giving chance to BJP to arrest them at Delhi, Mr Niaz said while addressing a gathering of Sarpanchs and Panchs of  the area at Bhaderwah today.
Mr Niaz said that both political parties have no vision of development of nation hence they try to divert attention  of people by dividing people.  The opportunist tactics of Coalition Government can not mislead public of  State and nation.
“By drafting  regional divide, the Coalition Government  can not divert the attention of people from  failure of governance. The Government has failed to solve the issue of AIIMS in the State and also failed to get  Smart city  sanctioned for State,” Niaz said.
The Congress leader said the governance deficit and roll back from the hollow slogans made by BJP and PDP before elections and after forming government are fostering unrest in State with public suffering on all fronts. There is an apprehension that to hide complete failure of  governance the Coalition Government may instigate regional politics which is dangerous for the State.
Mr Niaz accused Coalition Government for its divisive politics. He said the Government must focus on the  issues like corruption, unemployment and building infrastructure.
