JAMMU, July 25: Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) has alleged that Power Development Department employees are facing over burden with the additional work.
In an emergency meeting of the PPEU held today at Revenue Centre (PDD) Rehari Colony, Jammu under the leadership of Shakti Gupta- chairman, district president, Manjit Singh and Sanjay Gupta from Parade Division, the members protested against the system laid by M/s IRCON which is proving total failure under APDRP as so many problems are being faced by the public.
They said with this, the public is facing harassment and the PDD staff has been over burdened. The employees are not being given the extra benefit for the additional work imposed on them. They are facing exploitation. They said the grade benefit be provided to technicians vice SRO 149.
Prominent among others present in the meeting included – Vishal Sudan, Amarjit Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Ghulam Mohd Malik and Balvinder Singh.
