JAMMU, May 13: A general body meeting of All J&K Diploma Engineers Association (PDD unit) was held at Gladni to discuss the various burning demands and problems of the cadre.
The meet highlighted a number of issues, particularly promotion aspect from Junior Engineer to Assistant Engineer, AE to AEE and AEE to Xen and discussed future course of action. The participants unanimously resolved to go for one day token strike on the issue but did not decide the date for the same.
The meeting was attended by president J P Sharma, joint secretary Rakesh Goswami, general secretary Vijay Sharma, senior vice-president Sanjay Koul and other members of the Association.
