JAMMU, Oct 20: Senior vice president of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Thakur Hari Singh has demanded regularization of daily rated workers of PHE, PDD and PWD.
In a press statement issued here today, the PCC leader pointed out that many daily rated workers have completed even 10 to 15 years in these departments and have gone over aged but they have not been regularized. Some of them have been engaged on contractual basis while others on need basis. They have been facing lot of financial hardships. He demanded that all the daily rated/ consolidated workers who have completed seven years in service be regularized.
