JAMMU, Mar 2: Pradesh Congress Committee has deeply condoled the sad demise of Sunil Sharma, son of former MP and veteran Congress leader Dharam Pal Sharma, who passed away in a hospital at Gurgaon after a serious illness.
The cremation took place at Shastri Nagar Cremation Ground here today.
After coming to know about sad news, PCC president Ghulam Ahmed Mir accompanied by senior vice president Sham Lal Sharma and other senior leaders of the party rushed to the residence of Dharam Pal Sharma and personally shared the grief of the family.
Later, a condolence meeting was held at PCC headquarters Shahidi Chowk to condole the sad demise of Sunil Sharma. The PCC office bearers conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Mr Sharma and other members of bereaved family and expressed their sympathies with them.
Prominent among them included Amrit Malhotra, Madan Lal Sharma, Tara Chand, Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, GM saroori, Mohd Sharief Niaz, R S Chib, Kanta Bhan, Ravinder Sharma, Gurmukh Singh, Rajnish Sharma, Balwan Singh, Manohar Lal Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Shabir Khan, Manjit Singh, Indu Pawar, Namrata Sharma, Manmohan Singh and Vikram Malhotra.
