SRINAGAR, Apr 28: The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir has allotted areas/ constituencies/ zones among the office bearers in Kashmir for better coordination and strengthening party at grass root level.
The PCC vice president, who have been put incharge of the districts will head these groups Zone- wise and will start work with immediate effect. Ghulam Nabi Monga PCC vice president will be incharge of Zadibal, Amirakadal, Hazaratbal, Eidgah, Khaniyar, Habbakadal, Chadoora, Beerwa and Charar-e-Shrief. Amreena Badar PCC vice president would be incharge of Ganderbal, Kangan, Sonawar, Batmaloo, Budgam and Khansahib. Nazir Ahmed Khan PCC general secretary has been allotted the area of Chadoora, Charar-e-Sharief, Ganderbal Kangan, Zadibal and Sonawar while Shameema Iqbal PCC general secretary will look after Amirakadal, Hazaratbal, Eidgah, Khanyar, Habbakadal, Beerwa and Batmaloo area. Some secretaries and organizing secretaries have also given the charge of single constituency of the Central Zone of Kashmir.
In South Zone of Kashmir, vice president Mohd Anwar Bhat has been given the charge of Tral, Pulwama, Shopian, Noorabad, Devsar, Bijbehara, Pahalgam, Kokernag, Pampore, Rajpora, Wachi, Homeshalibug, Kulgam, Sghangus, Doru and Anantnag. PCC general secretary Hilal Ahmed Shah will look after Tral, Pulwama, Shopian, Noorabad, Devsar, Bijbehara, Pahalgam and Kookernag and S S Channi PCC general secretary will look after Pampore, Rajpora, Wachi, Homeshalibug, Kulgam, Shangus, Doru and Anantnag. Seven more junior office bearers have been assigned the work in these constituencies.
In North Zone of Kashmir, PCC vice president Haji Abdul Rashid Dar has been given the charge of Kupwara, Handwara, Bandipora, Sumbal, Sonawari, Rafiabad, Tangmarg, Lolab, Karnah, Langate, Gurez, Uri, Baramulla, Sopore, Sangrama and Pattan, PCC general secretary Shoaib Nabi Lone has been asked to look after Kupwara, Handwara, Bandipora, Sumbal Sonawari, Rafiabad and Tangmarg area while PCC general secretary Usman Majid will look after Lolab, Karnah, Langate, Guresz, Uri, Baramulla, Sopore, Sangrama and Pattan.
In Ladakh, vice president Narbo Gialson will be the incharge of party work in Kargil, Zanskar, Leh and Nobra constituencies. General secretary Ghulam Raza will also look after these four constituencies. Mohd Yasin secretary will look after Kargil and Nobra, Zakir Hussain organising secretary Leh while Sonam Namgyal organizing secretary will look after Zanskar area.
