JAMMU, May 5: Castigating the People’s Conference (PC), senior leader of the National Conference and Minister for CAPD and Transport, Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, today said it does not behave well of the leaders of Peoples Conference to claim sympathizers of the people who have themselves build their castles on the graveyards of the innocent Kashmiri youth.
He said that the Party during the period of turmoil instigated Kashmiri youth to take the gun, which brought bloodshed and mayhem in the State.
Ramzan said, “The leaders of the PC are answerable to the people of the State for killing of thousands of Kashmiri youth on the name of Azadi. They have exploited the religious sentiments of the people which became the cause of migration of Kashmiri pundits”.
The people of the State have now gone through their petty interests and will give the PC a befitting defeat in the forthcoming elections, he admitted.
Ramzan said that the National conference always fought for respect and honor of the people of the State. He said that the party always gives priority to the aspirations of the people for which the party gave sacrifices on different occasions.
Referring to the development of the State particularly in Kupwara district, Ramzan questioned the PC leaders what they have done for the district? He reminded them that the frontier district came in limelight during NC’s tenure when it had been provided its due share in employment opportunities in every sector.
