SRINAGAR, Oct 8: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Mohammad Sagar today informed the House that the Finance Department has conveyed its agreement to the Law Department regarding payment of pension revision arrears in favour of the former Legislators for the period of October 1, 2009 to April 20, 2011 in terms of the J&K State Legislature Members Pension Act 2011 in three equal annual installments commencing from the year 2013-14 subject to the condition that the necessary amendment is carried out in the Act with the approval of the competent authority.
The Minister was replying to a Calling Attention Notice by Ghulam Nabi Monga in the Legislative Council today.
