Pawar asks Cong workers to gear up for polls

KATHUA, Oct 17:  State president of  Mahila Congress, Indu Pawar (MLA) has asked the women activists of the party to gear up their activities in view of the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State.
Addressing a public meeting at village Makwal today, the Congress legislator appealed the women to remain aware of their rights and directed the party activists to reach out to the masses and enhance their activities in view of the coming polls. She asked the party activists to project the issues of the masses and get them addressed.
The MLA highlighted the achievements of the Congress Party  and development ensured in various parts of the State. She claimed that huge funds are being provided by the UPA Government led by Congress for various development works in the State. She said only Congress can provide better development in all the three regions of the State. The woman leader appealed the people to support Congress party in the coming elections.  She further stressed for maintaining communal harmony in the area.
