UDHAMPUR, Sept 17: MLA Udhampur Assembly Constituency, Pawan Gupta, today kick started black topping of link road from Gole Mela to Dhar road.
While addressing the gathering, Pawan Gupta disclosed that the link road is being blacktopped with a budget of Rs 35 lakh and expressed that the development of Udhampur Assembly Constituency is his mission. He revealed that more than 25 link roads will be black topped very soon.
A local of the area, Raj Paul Gupta, disclosed that about a month ago, a deputation of the area requested MLA Pawan Gupta for the black topping of this road and now listening to the people’s voice, the MLA is here to inaugurate to blacktopping work of the road.
On the occasion, women folk of the area apprised the MLA about irregular supply of drinking water in the area. The MLA assured the women that necessary instructions will be given to the authorities of PHE Department in connection with the scarcity of drinking water in their area.
Raj Kumar Bucha, Jivan Sharma, Rohit Sethi, Rajinder Gupta, Kuldeep Gupta, Sham Lal, Jughal Kishore, Gopal Dutt, Suresh Kumar, Parkash Shastri, Keshav Nath and Rattan Chand were also present on the occasion.
