SRINAGAR, Jan 1: A Patwari who was caught red handed while taking bribe in Kashmir, was challaned in the Special Anti-Corruption court, Srinagar today.
Identified as Manzoor Ahmed, the then Patwari Halqa Kaloosa in Bandiora, he was caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 1000 from complainant Ghulam Qadir Sheikh of Kaloosa, in 2012. After obtaining proper sanction for launching prosecution from the competent authority, the Patwari was today challaned in the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar Y P Bourney. He had been booked under FIR No. 12/ 2012 by Police Station Vigilance Organisation Kashmir.
