JAMMU, Dec 24 : Resident of Patta Bohri, Jammu have threatened protest dharna against alleged insensitive attitude of the Jammu Municipal Corporation towards the locality, which has been facing the problems due to choking of drains and foul smell.
The sewerage drains from Patta Bohri Chowk to Udheywala on both sides of Gajansoo road remain permanently choked with the result polluted water overflowing on road from main chowk Patta Bohri to SKUAST Udhayawala, said a press note issued by Mohalla Welfare Committee Patta Bohri.
As no action was taken despite repeated pleas to JMC and local MLA in this regard, residents of the locality have now decided to stage an indefinite dharna from December 27, the handout added.
