Pathania exhorts citizens to work selflessly for humanity

UDHAMPUR, July 13: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, while addressing Kabir Jayanti celebrations at Kabir Mandir, Baryalta, (Majalta) exhorted that every citizen of the country should work for the welfare of society and serve the humanity selflessly as preached by Saint Kabir.
Pathania paid tributes to the saint and stressed upon inculcating the lofty ideals and thoughts and gospels propounded by him. The teachings of Sant Kabirji are most relevant in today’s times and situations, he added.
He said that 15th century revolutionary saint, poet and social reformer Satguru Kabir propagated oneness of the Supreme Being across all religions. “Teachings of great spiritual saint inspire us to lead a righteous life. There were five human values of Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema and Ahimsa. These human values were taught by saints of all religions, which confer inner bliss”, he added.
Pathania called upon everyone to propagate the message of Satguru Kabir to every nook and corner of the country to fight evils of casteism, communalism, corruption which have engulfed the society.
He assured the people over there that the stalemate over ‘reservation in promotions’ shall be worked out early in a constructive, conducive and plausible manner. He took a dig at certain vested interests, who are out to polarize the situation and play petty politics over it. He also evoked consensus and support on excluding ‘creamy layer’ from the benefits of reservation.
The MLA further dwelled in detail the various developmental initiatives he has taken for SC and ST habitations of the area of Ramnagar. He announced kick start of work on Karkelu to Khabbal road and announced hand pumps at various needy places. He also announced that work on tribal modal village at Rasli- Gadheran shall commence very soon with a developmental initiatives of as many as 10 crores.
