MENDHAR, May 12: Due to callous attitude of the concerned authorities and non-execution of any repair work for years, Pathanateer-Gursai Mohari road in Mendhar sub division of Poonch is lying in bad condition with innumeraous potholes here and there.
Inhabitants of village Pathanateer, Gursai Mohari and adjoining areas, are suffering because of worst condition of the road, which requires immediate repair work and black topping. A number of villages are connected to this road which is nearly 10 kilometer in length.
Due to the callous attitude and criminal neglect on the part of PMGSY authorities, the road has been turned into shambles. This is the only surface link for the people of these villages with the Mendhar sub divisional headquarters. Alleging no action by the administration and silence on the part of PMGSY authorities, the locals of the area have sought immediate intervention of DC Poonch and Chief Engineer PMGSY Jammu into the matter.
