JAMMU, Feb 10: Senior BJP leader and former Chairman Pahari Speaking Board, Kuldeep Raj Gupta said that he has presented a book with various records of Pahari people to the Prime Minister, J&K LG and other dignitaries.
In a press conference he claimed that the book will serve as an important document for the implementation and creation of schemes for Pahari community.
Gupta also said that past Governments have always done injustice to the Paharis and never paid any attention towards their plight.
He hailed the 4 per cent reservation for Paharis and said that this has opened upon immense opportunities for the overall growth and development of the Pahari community in general and its youth in particular.
He said that since 1947, Paharis have witnessed the worst time due to the misadventures and aggression by Pakistan.
