Party expansion in full swing in Kashmir: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Feb 2: Influenced by policy and performance of the Shiv Sena, a dozen activists of different political parties from Kashmir today joined Shiv Sena.
In a statement issued by the Party’s office here today, dozens of workers from different regional parties joined Shiv Sena during a programme organized on the instructions of J&K unit president, Manish Sahni in Block Kasuma of Tehsil Kalapura in District Kupwara.
Working president of Kashmir unit Ghulam Rasool Lone and president women’s wing Nasima Begum and District president Abdul Raseed welcomed the new entrants into the Party fold by offering Party symbol and Shiv Bandhan.
He said that as per the instructions of the Party president, the expansion of the Party is being carried out at the District and Tehsil level across Kashmir province. He said that during the ongoing Party expansion programme every effort is being made to reach the people at the grass roots level and take stock of their problems and issues. “The Party activists and workers as well as the leaders are working relentlessly for restoration of peace and justice and statehood to J&K,” he said.
Abdul Rashid, Nazir Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Yusuf Malik, Shabir Ahmed, Shahnawaz Ahmed and Ishaq besides a large number of party workers were present during the joining event.
