Parties demand Statehood before elections

JAMMU, Mar 22: Shiv Sena J&K here today organised meetings with representative of various social and political organizations and demanded restoration of Statehood to J&K.
It was decided in a meeting that the Jammu based social and political parties will intensify their movement on some of the core issues like restoration of Statehood before announcing Assembly elections and regularization of daily wager employees who have served for more than five years in various departments of J&K Government.
Manish Sahni, J&K Shiv Sena president claimed that all the political and social organizations in the meeting extended full support to Statehood demand.
Sainik Samaj Party’s Col. S.S Pathania (retired); DDC Member Suchetgarh, T.S Tony; Rajeev Mahajan of Shri Ram Sena; Varun Bali of Lokjan Shakti Party and Deepak Sharma of Farm Bar Press also spoke on the occasion.
Sahni also demanded implementation of Minimum Wages Act.
Meenakshi Chhibber, G.I Singh, Jyoti Sharma, M.K Bhatt and Varinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
