KATHUA, Nov 3: The villagers of Parma held a demonstration at Deale Chaka today in protest against the failure of the authorities to construct the road in the area.
The protest continued up to half an hour and they later dispersed after SHO Hiranagar along with a team of policemen reached the spot and assured them that the issue will be taken with local MLA for redressed.
On the assurance of SHO the villagers dispersed but warned that in case the steps were not taken to construct the road in the area within a week they will launch the agitation.
