Parliamentary session

Sir,
Everybody is fully aware of the fact that India is one of the biggest and vibrant democracies in the world. The democratic dispensation is the mirror of the public and the elected representatives represent the people to fulfill their aspirations. Generally two sessions of Parliament take place in a year in which one pertains to passing of budget. It has now become a routine that before the beginning of session the Speaker hosts a meeting of all the opposite political parties and also the party in power to exhort them that all the party members will carry on the Parliamentary proceedings in a befitting manner so that the most important and needful decisions are arrived at amicably without causing any obstruction.
Generally, the party leaders assure the speaker for that, but when the Parliamentary proceedings start, the opposition parties on one or the other pretext create rukus and do not allow the Parliamentary proceedings to go on smoothly and in this way the required business to be transacted gets hampered. The same is happening in the ongoing session for the last 16 days and no business has been transacted. The law makers, the cream of the social  setup have every right for discussion because it is only opposite parties which are in a position to discuss the pros and cons of bills but nothing such happens during the present session and as soon as the Parliamentary session begins the opposite parties come to the well of the house and obstruct the proceeding without  transacting any business cause a heavy loss of time and Government money. Let the opposite parties play a vibrant role, in order to have a healthy discussion so that everything takes place as per the spirit of democracy.
Yours etc…
