Parliament disruptions

Sir,
This has reference to the news item “Prez concerned over Parl disruptions”DE Feb 17.
This is not the first time concern has been expressed over frequent disruptions in parliamentary proceedings by legislators .Earlier also many intellectuals, academicians, and common man have taken strong exception to what has been going on in the august house since some last years. The parliamentary debate has been reduced to blame game, verbal duels, abusive language, and scuffles among legislators. It has now become a norm for the legislators to troop into well of house to lodge protest even over trivial matters. The Speaker of the House has time and again request the elected representatives to restore peace and let the house transact business. These disruptions  not only waste precious time of the House but also delay tabling of important bills for discussion. Now budget sessssion is to commence in which many important issues concerning the country have to be discussed. Both the Opposition and the Ruling party should act responsibly to let the function smoothly. In it lies the interest of the nation.
Yours etc….
