JAMMU, Apr 20: In a noble gesture, a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Parivartan today distributed immunity boosters among the Government employees, who are rendering their services tirelessly by serving the people during the lockdown.
The immunity boosters were distributed among the employees of PHE office in the presence of Xen, Surinder Abrol.
The AYUSH team headed by Postgraduate Doctors, Dr Jatinder Kumar while Dr Harbaksh Singh, Dr Anil Badhoria, Dr Sandeep Bhagat, Dr Gagan and Sudhir Singh were also present during the event.
“In the wake of the Covid 19 outbreak, entire mankind across the globe is suffering. Enhancing the body’s natural defence system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum health. We all know that prevention is better than cure. While there is no medicine for COVID-19 as of now, it will be good to take preventive measures which boost our immunity in these times,” said NGO chairman, Vikas Sharma.
While lauding the role played by the employees Surinder Abrol said it is very well that our employees are serving the mankind in the crucial times, when everyone is keeping themselves safe in their houses but our men are still at work. He appreciated the NGO for their efforts.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Rajinder Singh, Subodh Bhasin, (Vice-Presidents), Vishal Targotra (Treasurer), Sahil Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ricky Manhas, Munish Jamwal and others.
