Srinagar, Feb 6: The paramedical students today protested demanding the conduct of their semester examinations that have been delayed due to a petition that was filed by a few students.
Scores of such students assembled in the Press Enclave and said that they are facing immense delay in their examination and that the authorities should take note of the same.
“There were earlier protests by the students, who were demanding online examinations, but then they filed a petition in the court for the same and since then it is all lying pending due to with we are facing losses,” said Misbah Ayoub, a paramedical student.
The students said that for the last more than one year one, the matter is stuck and due to which their career is in danger.
“We talked to the concerned authorities, but they are telling us to wait; it has further consumed more than a month on our time and by now, we should have been done with the exams,” the students said.
The students said that if few students have filed a petition, the authorities cannot allow them to ruin the career of rest of the students. The students appealed to the Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education to intervene in the matter and hold our exams without any further delay.
