Panthers Party holds protest at DC office

JAMMU, Oct 6: Panthers Party today held a protest demonstration in front of DC office Jammu demanding completion of Kullian -Laswara road, left half way by the executing agency.
The protest was led by vice-president of Panthers Trade Union (PTU) and working committee member, JKNPP, Sham Gorka. He alleged that the Kullian to Laswara road at RS Pura which covers 15 villages and 9 panchayats has been lying in a dilapidated condition for last 20 years.
“This stretch of road connects RS Pura to Bishnah but the vehicular traffic as well as general commuters are facing grave inconvenience while plying on the road”, he added. Sham Gorka said that the length of the road is 10 km approximately out of which 4 km stretch has been blacktopped but the remaining 6 km is still lying in a dilapidated condition.
He said that pot holes of five to six meter diameter on the road, have been posing life threat to the public at large. He further said that the road requires immediate black topping with sides of the road enforced with RBM.
Among others who participated in the protest demonstration include Sukhjinder Singh Ginny District youth president, Som Dutt Choudhary, Jitender Verma, Sohan Singh,  Gurbachan Singh, Kulbir Singh Chib, Jung Singh, Surinder Singh, Sansar Chand and Jagdish.
