JAMMU, Mar 6: Government today constituted eight member State level Coordination Committee to examine the issues related to Archaeology Survey of India (ASI) monuments in the State with Administrative Secretary, Department of Culture as its chairman.
An order to this effect was issued here by M A Bukhari, Commissioner/Secretary to the GAD.
The other members of the Committee included Director Archives, Archaeology & Museums, Deputy Commissioner concerned, Vice chairman of Development Authority, Jammu/Srinagar, senior Superintendent of Police concerned, Chief Town Planner, Jammu/Srinagar, Superintendent of Archaeology Survey of India, Srinagar Circle and any special invitee co-opted by the chairman as its members.
